Brie Larson Discusses Captain Marvel's Future in the MCU

Regarding her future within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Brie Larson is trying to keep her comments under wraps.The Marvels' box office performance notwithstanding, Brie Larson's future in the MCU remains uncertain. Though it doesn't seem likely that The Marvels will get a direct sequel, Larson might reprise his role as Captain Marvel in subsequent MCU films. When Extra questioned Larson about her possible MCU comeback at the SAG Awards, she avoided providing a definitive response about what would happen to her character going forward. In response to a question concerning her future with Marvel, Larson stated, "I don't have anything to say about that."
In the past, Brie Larson hinted to more MCU Captain Marvel.
When asked if she would like to spend more time in the MCU, Brie Larson had a more upbeat response in November 2023. She implied at the time that she needed to use caution when speaking to avoid upsetting the Marvel upper management. She did, however, hint that "something" was in the works in which she would be participating, but no matter how much she wanted to, she refused to reveal what it was.

Regarding her return to the part for The Marvels, Larson added, "I think there is still so much inside of Carol." "I think that joining this team opened her up in a way that she hadn't been opened up before, and I really enjoyed that for her. I simply enjoyed that she didn't feel like she had to bear all the burdens and let her shoulders droop a little. I believe that there is still a great deal of work to be done.In addition to Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani co-starred in the direct sequel to Captain Marvel, The Marvels. In addition to Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Lewis, and Park Seo-joon, Zawe Ashton portrayed the villain in the film. Along with Megan McDonnell and Elissa Karasik, Nia DaCosta co-wrote the screenplay and directed the movie.
Disney+ now offers streaming for The Marvels.
