Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has revealed the most recent information regarding The Fantastic Four. In the movie, Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Ben Grimm/The Thing, Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn plays Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Feige has disclosed that the movie is a historical drama with a 1960s setting. Feige stated, "It is a period film, and there was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol," on The Official Marvel Podcast. In that picture, a cityscape was seen. Many astute observers noted that the cityscape bore no resemblance to either the New York of the 1960s or the New York that we knew and loved. Those are astute insights. Feige also said that The Fantastic Four filming will start the Monday following Comic-Con, July 29. In addition, Paul Walter-Hauser, Ralph Ineson, John Malkovich, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, and Natasha Lyonne sta...

Actress Elodie Yung expresses interest in reprising her Elektra role in Daredevil: Born Again

The Daredevil actress Élodie Yung recently stated that, although she hasn't been invited back yet, she would love to reprise her role as Elektra in Daredevil: Born Again.

When Yung said to toofab, "Oh my gosh, I would love that," she was speaking. "What makes it hilarious is that my fans ask me, 'Can you come back?' I say, 'Ask Mr. Marvel,' but you have to ask Mr. Marvel, not me, since I would be happy to repeat this scene. Are you serious? She is quite strong. She is a sociopath. She is a huge joy." The last time viewers saw the beloved character, Elektra Natchios, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was during her comeback for the crossover miniseries The Defenders, which Yung portrayed in Daredevil Season 2.

Rosario Dawson Is Interested in Returning to the MCU

Yung is not the only Daredevil cast member on Netflix to openly voice desire in going back to Hell's Kitchen. In February 2024, Rosario Dawson, who played the role of Claire Temple, a nurse and ally of the Netflix/Marvel heroes, revealed that she was still waiting for a call from Marvel Studios. Dawson used the hashtag "#unfinishedbusiness" to indicate that she would "of course" be willing to reprise her role as Claire for Born Again in response to a fan on X.

Charlie Cox, who plays the title Man Without Fear in Netflix's Daredevil, will return to the show Born Again. Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher will all be reprising their roles in the much awaited Disney+ series.

With Michael Gaston, Marc Geller, and Harris Yulin cast in unspecified roles, the new cast members are Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade, Sandrine Holt as Vanessa Fisk (replacing Ayelet Zurer), Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, and Zabryna Guevara as Sheila Rivera. Additionally anticipated is the appearance of the serial murderer Muse, but Marvel has not yet revealed the actor who would play the part.

A New Suit for Daredevil

The Disney+ series Born Again is expected to carry on stories from the Marvel Spotlight series Echo, including Kingpin's bid for mayor of New York City, however specifics of the plot are still being withheld. Set photographs of Born Again showed a new comic book-accurate Daredevil suit, however it was missing the recognizable "DD" chest emblem. Filming on the project resumed earlier this year following a creative reset. Additionally, set images have hinted at potential roles for Bullseye and The Punisher in the next series. The filmmaking team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who have previously directed episodes of Moon Knight and Loki, is directing the rest of Born Again's first season.

Disney+ is anticipated to host the debut of Daredevil: Born Again in 2025.
