Feige reveals Fantastic Four as MCU's first period film

Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has revealed the most recent information regarding The Fantastic Four. In the movie, Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Ben Grimm/The Thing, Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn plays Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Feige has disclosed that the movie is a historical drama with a 1960s setting. Feige stated, "It is a period film, and there was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol," on The Official Marvel Podcast. MCU's Sorcerer Supreme Benedict Wong hints at upcoming return.

The British actor Benedict Wong will be making a comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). At the red carpet premiere of his new Netflix series, 3 Body Problem, Benedict Wong, who now plays the role of Sorcerer Supreme in the MCU, hinted to Comic Book that something significant was going on with his character Wong.

Additionally, according to the news source, Marvel is supposedly developing a live-action adaptation of their well-known comic book series Strange Academy. In the final scenes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wong's choice to instruct America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) in the mystical arts fuels the potential.

In an earlier interview with Variety, Wong discussed the evolution of his character, stating, "We looked at the old source material and it needed an update when I first embarked on the role."


Additionally, he recalled his first approach while waiting to see producer Stephen Broussard and Kevin [Feige] in the trailer. Regretfully, Marvel Studios president Brad Winderbaum recently told Comic Book that although a lot of projects are in development there, not everything will necessarily be produced.Some initiatives may not go as planned due to the growing workload, which could disappoint fans who are hoping for assurances.


Winderbaum revealed that Marvel Studios has put in place a new system behind the scenes on ComicBook.com's Phase Zero podcast.They currently generate more projects than they will ultimately produce, functioning more like a traditional studio.


Winderbaum shared his hope that Nova will eventually be adapted for the big screen and discussed his plans to develop it.The world is never peaceful. Things are always present. I would love to see a Nova show someday, but you have to conjure these things to make them happen."
