Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has revealed the most recent information regarding The Fantastic Four. In the movie, Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Ben Grimm/The Thing, Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn plays Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Feige has disclosed that the movie is a historical drama with a 1960s setting. Feige stated, "It is a period film, and there was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol," on The Official Marvel Podcast. In that picture, a cityscape was seen. Many astute observers noted that the cityscape bore no resemblance to either the New York of the 1960s or the New York that we knew and loved. Those are astute insights. Feige also said that The Fantastic Four filming will start the Monday following Comic-Con, July 29. In addition, Paul Walter-Hauser, Ralph Ineson, John Malkovich, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, and Natasha Lyonne sta...

Unconfirmed Developments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Captain America Sequel and Potential Young Avengers Project

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be quite busy over the next few years as we prepare for the next Avengers film, even if Marvel Studios only has one film (Deadpool and Wolverine) coming out in theaters in 2024.

Although there haven't been many formal announcements recently regarding forthcoming projects, we do have some intriguing speculations to offer.

The Serpent Society, a collection of supervillains, have been entirely eliminated from Captain America: Brave New World during what appear to be very substantial reshoots, according to trustworthy insider Daniel Richtman. We had heard this before from previous scoopers who said that instead of the team's screen time being eliminated completely, it had just been trimmed.

Although it's probably safe to infer that these characters weren't going to be important players in the film, it's still unusual to remove a whole subplot this late in the game (though Daredevil: Born Again also saw some significant creative changes).

Whatever the outcome of Brave New World's last conflict may be, it seems like it has also been drastically changed.Along with saying that the Young Avengers project, which is presently in development, will undoubtedly be a movie rather than a Disney+ series or Special Presentation, Richtman also claims to have heard that Marvel is developing a brand-new IP that will make its premiere in 2026.

This character is thought to be one that hasn't yet made an appearance in the MCU, though we don't have any additional information.

Many images from the Brave New World set, some of which included Serpent Society members, have been circulating online. Additionally, we saw Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) decked up in a surprisingly comic-accurate outfit as the MCU's new Falcon, and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) looking geared up in his new Cap costume.

Reunited as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie will play the next Sentinel of Liberty, Sam Wilson. Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, and Shira Haas as the Israeli superheroine Sabra will also be joining Mackie.

The story will (or was going to) disclose Samuel Sterns as the "secret benefactor" behind the Serpent Society, however specific plot details are still being withheld.

It's unclear exactly what this will involve, but we think he will support the group and maybe even provide them with technology.Does this imply that the Leader, tugging strings from the shadows, will play a minor part in the follow-up? Although it's difficult to say for sure, Brave New World seems like it will have a lot of content, so we wouldn't count it out.
