Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has revealed the most recent information regarding The Fantastic Four. In the movie, Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Ben Grimm/The Thing, Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn plays Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Feige has disclosed that the movie is a historical drama with a 1960s setting. Feige stated, "It is a period film, and there was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol," on The Official Marvel Podcast. In that picture, a cityscape was seen. Many astute observers noted that the cityscape bore no resemblance to either the New York of the 1960s or the New York that we knew and loved. Is Deadpool 3 Enough to Fix the MCU? Here's What Fans & Critics Think

Surprisingly, after receiving many releases for more than a decade, Deadpool 3 will be the only Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) picture released this year. Nevertheless, with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Merc with a Mouth, a lot of fans are looking forward to it. Since the studio was releasing Avengers movies following each stage, it is no secret that the MCU is not the powerhouse franchise it once was.

Following a run of underwhelming films, including The Marvels, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Eternals, the MCU appears to be in good shape. Filmmaker Matthew Vaughn is among those who think Deadpool 3 will revitalize the beloved cinematic world and increase anticipation for the Multiverse Saga, which hasn't been as exciting as its previous run of movies. Deadpool 3 alone won't be enough to turn the MCU around, given the recent direction the franchise has been taking.

Release Date: Originally set for May 3rd, 2024, the picture will now be released on July 26, 2024, albeit with a small postponement.

Trailer: On September 25, 2023, the first official trailer for "Deadpool 3" was unveiled, revealing Hugh Jackman's return to the role of Wolverine and confirming the film's title.

Filming: Post-production is presently in progress since the filming concluded in January 2024.

Plot: Although there aren't many specifics, the teaser points to a multiverse story featuring time travel with Wolverine and Deadpool teaming up. There is conjecture that the movie will resolve unresolved issues inside the Fox-Marvel X-Men realm.

Cast: Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine once again, and Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool. Additional cast members who have been confirmed are Morena Baccarin, Shioli Kutsuna, and Leslie Uggams.

Director: Shawn Levy, who directed "Free Guy" and "Stranger Things," is in charge.

All in all, Deadpool 3 is a source of excitement because Wolverine is back and there might be a multiverse plot. It remains to be seen, though, whether the movie is able to revive the MCU's momentum.
