Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has revealed the most recent information regarding The Fantastic Four. In the movie, Ebon Moss-Bachrach plays Ben Grimm/The Thing, Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn plays Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Feige has disclosed that the movie is a historical drama with a 1960s setting. Feige stated, "It is a period film, and there was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol," on The Official Marvel Podcast. In that picture, a cityscape was seen. Many astute observers noted that the cityscape bore no resemblance to either the New York of the 1960s or the New York that we knew and loved. Those are astute insights. Feige also said that The Fantastic Four filming will start the Monday following Comic-Con, July 29. Brie Larson Remains Tight-Lipped Regarding Her Future Portrayal of Captain Marvel

Brie Larson responded in a mysterious way to questions about her future as Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Ms. Marvel's lackluster performance.

As the first actress to be given a solo superhero project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Brie Larson's arrival as Captain Marvel was eagerly awaited. Though the character received mixed reviews when she first appeared in Ms. Marvel, her most recent appearance drew harsh criticism. Larson's comeback was unexpected because the MCU film was all but bound to fail from the beginning and Captain Marvel was unable to salvage it.

Brie Larson responds to the possibility of joining the MCU as Captain Marvel

Though Brie Larson's future in the MCU remains uncertain, the previously released The Marvels did not fare well in theaters. It doesn't seem probable that The Marvels will have a direct sequel either, but even if it doesn't, Larson might play Captain Marvel again in future MCU productions. When Extra questioned Larson at the SAG Awards about her possible comeback to the MCU, she steered short of addressing what would happen to her character going forward.

In response to a question regarding her future plans with the MCU, the actress stated, "I don't have anything to say about that." When asked if she planned to spend more time in the universe back in November 2023, Brie Larson gave a more upbeat response, hinting that "something" was in the works that she would be part in, but she refused to reveal what it was, no matter how much she wanted to. She told Entertainment Tonight, "There's something, but I don't want Marvel to come for me." To address your question, there is undoubtedly something I would like to say, but I won't.

Will we see Captain Marvel in the MCU again?

The creators have not confirmed the Marvel character's future. However, it seems unlikely that Brie Larson's Captain Marvel would play a significant role in the film in the future given the negative reception the previous release received and the new direction the Marvel Studios is taking to introduce new characters. She has, however, already shown herself to be among the toughest Avengers while facing off against the insane behemoth, Thanos.
